Washburn guitar serial number dating
First two numbers in the sequence will tell you when your guitar was produced.

Mine is away having a 5 string neck made so I can't quote the serial#.I shall keep an eye on this thread to see if anyone else can come up with useful info.
The guitar in question, in this case, is a parlor sized Washburn model A 5991.
